Sorry, there will be no refunds for cancellations or “Change of Mind” after a class has been attended and the course has commenced. For cancellations and changes due to exceptional circumstances such as family issues or emergencies, each case will be looked at individually.

I’ve never used a sewing machine before, can I attend a sewing workshop?
We advise you attend our Introduction to Sewing Course before enrolling into any of our other sewing workshops to get yourself familiar with the sewing machine and learn all the basic skills. For all our other sewing classes we assume you can set up and use a sewing machine independently. Please check each class for the level of sewing experience recommended for attendees.
What if I don’t have my own sewing machine and want to attend a sewing workshop?
The Sew Make Create workshop is equipped with domestic, Janome sewing machines and overlockers. Everyone is welcome to use the sewing machines in the Sew Make Create workshop for no extra cost when they attend any of our sewing workshops.
Can I bring my own sewing machine to a workshop?
Of course! We encourage you to bring your own machine if possible. That way you can practice on the machine you will sew on at home and get to know more features, tips and tricks about your own sewing machine. It also gives you the opportunity to ask the Teacher any questions you have about how your machine works. If it is not convenient to transport your sewing machine with you to class there will always be a machine available in our workshop for you to use.
I want to learn something not currently offered?
We love to hear about new skills or workshops people would like to attend at Sew Make Create. Please send us your request to hello@sewmakecreate.com.au and we can look into including it in our workshop list if it’s appropriate.
